Kevin W. Bounds

Author, minister and cyclist

In the coming weeks, I will be riding 300 miles to Key West with Ends Adventures. This ride is more than a physical challenge. It is a mission. Every mile pedaled is aimed at supporting the next generation of believers in Bulgaria through our ministry partner Josiah Venture.

Why Bulgaria

Across Central and Eastern Europe, many churches have a clear vision to reach young people with the gospel. What they often lack are resources, training, and long-term support. Youth leaders are willing. Churches are open. The need is real.

Josiah Venture exists to come alongside these churches, not to replace them, but to strengthen them. Their mission is to partner with local congregations that desire to reach youth and help them build healthy, evangelistic, Christ-centered youth ministries that will last for generations.

What Josiah Venture Does

Josiah Venture focuses on relationships and long-term investment. They walk with pastors and youth leaders as they develop sustainable ministries. They train leaders, encourage churches, and provide practical tools that help young people encounter Christ and grow as disciples.

How the Funds Will Be Used

The donations raised through this ride will go directly toward strengthening youth ministries in Bulgaria. These funds help provide practical resources such as:

  • Bicycles and sports equipment
  • Musical instruments
  • Rock climbing and camping gear
  • Training materials and curriculum
  • Conferences and seminars for youth leaders
  • Scholarships for ministry training programs and youth camps

These tools open doors for relationships, discipleship, and gospel conversations with young people.

Why I Am Riding

Cycling has become one of the ways God has shaped my life, my faith, and my ministry. This ride allows me to use something I love as a means of service. As I ride, I will be praying for churches, leaders, and students in Bulgaria, and trusting God to use ordinary faithfulness for eternal impact.

My Fundraising Goal

My personal goal for this ride is to raise $1,000. Every gift moves us closer to that goal and directly supports youth ministry through local churches in Bulgaria. Whether you give a small amount or a larger gift, each contribution matters and makes a real difference.

How You Can Help

I invite you to prayerfully consider partnering with me in one of three ways:

  1. Give financially toward the $1,000 goal
  2. Pray for safety, endurance, and spiritual fruit
  3. Share this opportunity with others who may want to support the mission

Thank you for walking with me in prayer, support, and encouragement. I am grateful to be part of what God is doing among the youth of Bulgaria.

Blessings,

Kevin W. Bounds (a.k.a., “The Pedaling Preacher”)

Kevin’s personal fundraising goal is $1,000, and he invites the church family to prayerfully consider supporting this effort through giving, prayer, or sharing the opportunity with others.
