Christ is the cornerstone of the Bible’s message, the thread weaving together every page. From Genesis to Revelation, the Bible consistently reveals Christ as the ultimate fulfillment of God’s redemptive plan. We can see this through prophecies, symbolic types, and foreshadowing. The story of the disciples on the road to Emmaus, as recorded in Luke 24, profoundly exemplifies this truth.

After the resurrection, Jesus joined these disciples on their journey and engaged in conversation with them. The Bible recounts that during this encounter, the risen Lord began explaining to them the things concerning Himself in all the Scriptures, starting from Moses and continuing through all the prophets (Luke 24:17). This highlights the significance of Christ’s presence and fulfillment in every aspect of Scripture. When we approach the Bible with Christ at the center of our reading and interpretation, we not only gain knowledge and understanding but also deepen our relationship with Him. Through this lens, the Bible becomes a living and transformative text, guiding us towards a greater understanding of God’s love and His plan for redemption.
